Dr. Robinson graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry in 2011 and joined Saugeen Shores Family Eye Care in 2011
She loves her profession and is committed to providing excellent optometric care and friendly customer service to all of her patients

Fun fact: she was accepted to and graduated from the School of Optometry at the same time as her brother, Dr. Greg Carr (and no, they aren’t twins!)

Honours and awards: Good-Lite Pediatric Optometry Award and Vice President of her Optometry class

Special interests: general family eye care for all ages, pediatric eye care; Dr. Robinson also has a keen interest in binocular vision and vision therapy and has completed extensive training including completing the clinical curriculum through the OEPF, along with courses through the COVD and COVT&R

Associations: certified by the College of Optometrists of Ontario to prescribe therapeutics pharmaceutical agents (TPAs); a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists, Canadian Association of Optometrists, COVD, OEPF and COVT&R; the Grey-Bruce Lead Optometrist for the Eye See… Eye Learn children’s vision program, which provides free glasses to children in junior kindergarten, as well as a member of the Children’s Vision Committee

Outreach: she has dedicated herself to increasing awareness of the importance of children receiving comprehensive eye exams with an Optometrist before they start school, so that they have the best possible start to optimize learning; giving interactive presentations with JK/SK classes in schools in Saugeen Shores to teach the kids about eye health and the importance of taking care of their eyes; presentations within the community to help promote the importance of early prevention and detection of ocular diseases; and she also provides off-site eye care services to a day care in Cape Croker
