Fun fact: she was accepted to and graduated from the School of Optometry at the same time as her brother, Dr. Greg Carr (and no, they aren't twins!)
Achievements:
2011
- Honours Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry, including earning the Good-Lite Pediatric Optometry Award and acting as Vice President of the 2011 Optometry class
2011 - founded Saugeen Shores Family Eye Care alongside her father, brother and sister-in-law
2019 - founded Saugeen Shores Vision Therapy Centre to serve even more patients struggling with visual dysfunctions through vision therapy

Special interests: general family eye care for all ages, pediatric eye care; Dr. Robinson also has a keen interest in binocular vision and vision therapy and has completed numerous post-graduate courses in vision therapy and rehabilitation through the Canadian Optometrists in Vision Therapy & Rehabilitation, Optometric Education Program Foundation, as well as College of Optometrists in Vision Development and is currently undergoing the process of becoming a Fellow of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development

- certified by the College of Optometrists of Ontario to prescribe therapeutics pharmaceutical agents (TPAs)
- a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists, Children's Vision Committee, Canadian Association of Optometrists, College of Optometrists in Vision Development, Optometric Education Program Foundation and Canadian Optometrists in Vision Therapy & Rehabilitation
- the Grey-Bruce area lead for the Eye See... Eye Learn children's vision program, which provides free glasses to children in junior kindergarten

Outreach: she has dedicated herself to increasing awareness of the importance of children receiving comprehensive eye exams with an Optometrist before they start school, so that they have the best possible start to optimize learning; giving interactive presentations with JK/SK classes in schools in Saugeen Shores to teach the kids about eye health and the importance of taking care of their eyes; presentations within the community to help promote the importance of early prevention and detection of ocular diseases; and she also provides off-site eye care services to a day care in Cape Croker
