Dr. Carr graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry in 2011 and joined Saugeen Shores Family Eye Care in 2011

Special interests: general family eye care for all ages and ocular diseases (specifically dry eye, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and glaucoma management)
Associations: certified by the College of Optometrists of Ontario to prescribe therapeutics pharmaceutical agents (TPAs); a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrist and Canadian Association of Optometrists and registered as an eye care provider with the Eye See... Eye Learn children's vision program, which provides free glasses to children in junior kindergarten
Outreach: in 2008, he spent time in Haiti volunteering for Optometry Giving Sight (OGS) and Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH), delivering eye care and donated eyewear to those less fortunate
